Our
Solution

Following on a successful delivery of previous projects, Griff Services Ltd were asked to design, install and commission a solar panel system on a newly constructed recycle centre, which will process up to 30,000 tonnes of dry recyclable waste per year.

What Were
The Results

The applicant has broadly followed the energy hierarchy to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions based on the energy assessment.

The CO2 emission reductions at each stage of the energy hierarchy are expected to reach 8 tonnes of CO2 per year in regulated emissions compared to a 2013 Building Regulations compliant development, equivalent to an overall saving of 39%. The installed system will return excess of 245 kWh per annum and reduction of CO2 in range of 147 tonnes.
