Following on from a purchase of this lovely cottage in South Manchester, its owner Richard decided to embark on a mammoth task of upgrading all ancient electrics to modern standards.
One of the fundamental requirements was to keep old system alive as we were working on new cabling.
The solution was to perform this task in stages.
This would allow for new installation to blend in at least destructive way from the initial survey and assessment of the original cabling system to a complete rewiring of the whole property.
It was a laborious process involving countless man hours on site replacing bit by bit of electrics as we were progressing.
All in all, total of seven consumer units were installed at this property. In the end we managed to restore an order to all electrics, leaving one happy customer.
Meeting Michael and the GRIFF team was a breath of fresh air. Michael and his entire team were on-hand and available through the whole process to cope with the inevitable challenges of a project this size, and their ongoing quality assurance throughout the programme ensured that on move-in day, we did not even have one item which was not fully operational. Griff Services did a great job for me. They arranged for the installation of the EV charging point at short notice and provided update and reminder text messages prior to the job. On the morning of the install they also notified me of the installer Tom's ETA. Tom did a great and tidy job and was extremely pleasant to deal with.
